UK has announced a stay back option for all the international students who starts their studies in 2020 or after, it will allow all the students to stay and work in the UK for 2 years after finishing their studies. Any international student on a Tier 4 visa who selects at a UK University from September 2020 will be qualified to remain in the UK after graduation to get a new line of work. Previously the graduates of Bachelor’s or Master’s degrees had just four months to remain and search for employment. With the new changes, that has been improved to two years. It will benefit to all the students who enroll in or after September 2020, So if you are thinking to apply visa in September 2020 or October 2020 you can take the benefits of this PSW, After the two years, you will be able to switch onto the skilled work visa if you find a job which meets the skill requirement of the route
Terms and Conditions of Post Study Work Visa
- The new work visa in the UK will be applicable for 2020/21 intake students at undergraduate or above level of study
- Student should be on Tier 4 visa in order to get benefits of this visa.
- Students who have completed their undergraduate degree must have a “proven track record” in upholding immigration checks
